Living across the street at Victory Park sure has its perks - A park where you feel comfortable & motivated to jog, neighbors who take pride of their homes that surround the park and even enjoy a concert every Wednesday during summer with friends.
This year, the Stockton Earth Day Festival made its presence behind the Haggin Museum at Victory Park. The easy 40 minute bike ride was a plus to kick off the festival. There was even bike valet for all bicyclist who visit the festival by pedal. It brought a gracious crowd all interested about our environment and this year's theme the Bees! It accompanied a wide variety of entertainment, yummy food and info booths all aimed to educate and entertain.
The layout of the festival was very smart indeed - all vendors made a circle around the festival and smack right in the middle was, Earth Day info, first aide and of course the bike valet provided by the San Joaquin Bike Coalition. If you haven't been to the Stockton Earth Day Festival, plan on it for 2016.
