An estimated 50 million Americans suffer from all types of allergies (1 in 5 Americans) including indoor/outdoor, food & drug, latex, insect, skin and eye allergies. Allergy prevalence overall has been increasing since the early 1980s across all ages, sex and racial groups. Severe allergic reactions can result in trouble breathing and even death. In this course, you will learn about different types of allergies, presentation for both mild and severe reactions, treatment options including the use of an epi-pen, and how to rapidly assess and treat someone having an allergic reaction. If you or someone you care for suffers from severe allergies, this course is a must for you. August 13th 8:45am-9:15am (Pre-registration by phone or email required) October 18th 3:15pm-3:45pm (Pre-registration by phone or email required) Other dates may be offered as well. Please contact us
