National Weather Summary
As of 8 a.m. Saturday, an area of low pressure (29.53 inches) was
spinning over the North Carolina mountains. The associated warm front
extended to the Delmarva, while the storm's cold front was draped into
the Atlantic and Florida. In the storm's wake, an area of high
pressure (30.26 inches) was centered over Oklahoma. Another high
(30.26 inches) was located over northern Wisconsin. A weaker low
(29.79 inches) was located over North Dakota with its cold front
draped back to southern Saskatchewan. The cold front associated with
another storm extended through Washington and Oregon.
