A collaboration of local artists, Transience Omakase is a one-of-a-kind art exhibit where you get to use the art!
Celeste Wong is a ceramic artist who was born and raised in the Bay Area, Hercules California. Going to college brought her out to the Napa Valley, where she got her BFA at Pacific Union College in Angwin California. Her internship at NBC Pottery led to her job there as NBC Pottery’s studio assistant. During her own time, she spends time working on her own commissions and gathers inspiration from patterns, fractals and nature.
David Duy Ngo is a famous sushi chef from Stockton and Sacramento with over 5-6 years working in the industry and has worked in many restaurants in Northern California. He is very passionate about sushi of all forms and has taught/trained countless people of all ages. In his spare time, he ventures out to sushi restaurants around the state to draw inspiration for his craft.
The exhibition itself is free and open to the public which includes:
- Meet the Artist: Celeste Wong
- Live Ikebana Demonstration by Brandon Bowman of Morningside Florist
- Full Bar with mixed drinks by the Bella Vista Bartenders
- Special a-la-carte menu made by David
- Silent Auction with a percentage of the proceeds going to Dream Closet.
