KUDOS Children’s Theatre Company will hold registration on January 14 for young actors to participate in their musical theatre workshop and production of Disney’s Finding Nemo stage play. Registration is open to 2nd-12th Grade Actors and Tech Crew.
The workshop will focus on character work through acting exercises as well as singing music and learning choreography from the show. Material in this workshop will help prepare the actor for the production’s audition on February 11. Participants can sign up for the workshop only, both the workshop and production, just the production or join the tech crew.
2nd-3rd graders must attend all days of the workshop and have permission from the director to be in the production.
4th-12th graders will participate in the production if they have successfully registered. Auditions are used for role placement for 4th-12th graders.
We accept 4th-12th graders for tech crew positions.
Tech crew will explore the script and begin the design process for the show. Basic tool and equipment knowledge will be taught. Crew will build props, sets, and prepare technical needs for the show.
A show information packet can be found on KUDOS' website that includes show synopsis, roles, requirements, and a calendar of commitment dates.
Tickets for the performances will go on sale in March.
The show will run April 14-17 and April 20-23.
