The Stockton Astronomical Society, Oak Grove Docent Council, and San Joaquin County Parks invite you and your family to a stellar summer and fall series—Astronomy in the Park—hosted at Shumway Oak Grove Regional Park, just off I-5 at Eight Mile Road in Stockton.
This free public event offers an exciting opportunity to dive into the wonders of the night sky through giant telescopes provided by local astronomy experts. Guests are encouraged to come early and enjoy hands-on astronomy activities inside the Nature Center before the sun sets and the sky comes alive.
A $6 cash parking fee applies, and all events are weather permitting.
