2nd Saturday events are designed for children ages 5-12, and feature an enchanting read-out-loud experience and art activity thoughtfully designed for young readers and budding artists! Each session features a hands-on project inspired by the story and a carefully selected book aligned with our exhibits or monthly theme. Reservations are not required, but seating is available on a first come-first served basis. Materials and activities are included with regular museum admission.
Celebrate the power of creativity to transform communities with City Makeover Paintings. Inspired by Maybe Something Beautiful, children will reimagine neighborhoods through colorful, imaginative cityscapes. This hands-on project aligns with the McKee Student Art Exhibition, where the creativity of young artists demonstrates how art can transform space and unite people.
